Admissions
Wittersham Church of England Primary School is a warm, welcoming and nurturing village school providing education for children aged 4 to 11. Rooted in our Christian vision and values of courage, cooperation and compassion, we are proud to serve our local community and to create a learning environment where children feel safe, valued and inspired to flourish. We offer 20 Reception places each year for families wishing to join our school family and become part of our caring and supportive community.

Admissions Arrangements
Admissions to Wittersham Church of England Primary School are administered by Kent County Council (KCC) in line with the school’s published Admissions Policy and the Kent Primary Admissions Scheme.
All applications for Reception places must be made through the Kent County Council Primary Admissions Portal.

If the school is oversubscribed, places are allocated according to the published oversubscription criteria, which include:
- Looked After and Previously Looked After Children
- Church affiliation
- Siblings already attending the school
- Distance from the school

In-Year Admissions
We welcome applications from families moving into the area or seeking a change of school during the academic year. To enquire about an in-year place, please contact the school office to check availability.
If no places are available at the time of your enquiry, your child’s name can be added to our waiting list in accordance with the school’s Admissions Policy.
Appeals
If you are not offered a place at Wittersham Church of England Primary School, you have the right to appeal. Information about how to appeal can be found on the Kent County Council website.
