Wraparound Care at Wittersham Church of England School

At Wittersham Church of England Primary School, we understand how important reliable, high-quality childcare is for our families and how much this supports children to begin and end their day feeling settled, safe and ready to learn.

Our enhanced Wraparound Care provision opened on 1st September 2025 and runs each day from 8:00am to 5:30pm. The club is led by familiar and trusted members of our staff team who know the children well and understand the nurturing ethos of our school.

This provision has been carefully designed to offer far more than supervision before and after the school day. Children are welcomed into a calm, structured environment where they can enjoy breakfast, take part in a range of engaging activities, spend time with friends and, if they wish, simply relax. After school, the club provides a gentle transition from the busy school day, with creative activities, games, outdoor play and quiet spaces available so that children can choose how they spend their time.

Wraparound Care at Wittersham reflects the same values seen across the school day. It is warm, supportive and purposeful, providing a consistent and safe environment where children feel comfortable, cared for and part of the school community beyond the classroom.

• Morning provision (from 8:00 am): Led by Miss Woolhouse

• Afternoon provision (until 5:30 pm): Led by Miss Bailey and Mrs Packham 

Wraparound Care Timings & Costs

• Breakfast Club (8:00am – 8:30 am): £3.00

• 3:15 pm – 4:15 pm session: £3.50

• 4:15 pm – 5:30 pm session: £4.00

• Full after-school session (3:15 pm – 5:30 pm): £7.50

• If your child attends a club and then joins wraparound care at 4:15 pm, a top-up payment will be required to cover the rest of the session.

How to Book

• All wraparound care and internal club bookings must be made via ScoPay.
• You must have sufficient funds in your ScoPay account in order to complete a booking.
• Breakfast and after-school care bookings open from Thursday 17th July at 4:00 pm and remain open for ongoing flexible booking.
• Afternoon wraparound bookings must be made by 12:00 pm on the day of the session (or by midday Friday for Monday sessions).
• Breakfast bookings must be made by midday on the working day before the session.
• For emergency bookings, please contact Mrs Crabtree in the school office.

We are also registered for Tax-Free Childcare. If you would like support in using this payment option, please speak with Mrs Crabtree.
